What you will do

  • Our proposal manager is a multi-talent in charge of developing our customer proposals for the most competitive energy storage solutions
  • You will be in charge of initiating the proposal development process in cooperation with the sales team. You coordinate the internal efforts for developing the proposal for the total scope that we are bidding for, including cost calculations reflecting internal and external costs
  • With your future colleagues you will review invitations to bid to understand the value drivers for our customers when implementing our technology. You collaborate with the technical, engineering, project management, supply chain and sales teams to ensure efficient tender support and refine the bid accuracy based on local, commodity and client requirements and information restraints
  • You will evaluate the proposal scope and develop a plan for bidding, and develop meaningful value propositions in collaboration with the sales and execution teams. You evaluate, strategize, and prioritize tender opportunities and plan forthcoming bids, events, tasks, key dates and required resources
  • You will support supply chain to collect subcontractor bids providing relevant documentation and supervise and develop proposal documentation to our customers. You support by optimising the project costs, schedule, resources, supply
    chain, quality and finances
  • You will assist the sales team in business development activities with meeting customers for clarifications as required. You will also support with clarifications, negotiations and closure

 

Your skills and experiences

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant experience
  • You have more than five years of experience as Proposal Manager leading EP(C) tenders with opportunity values exceeding ten m€, experience with cost estimating activities, and prior knowledge of the corporate environment is an advantage
  • You are proficient in tender management and have estimating experience on EP(C) projects, utility or industrial projects in self-performed projects with proven technical acumen and significant experience to lead competitive and technical bids
  • With your advanced knowledge of estimating strategies and techniques, cost control and scheduling of work, you are able to develop the design of integrated solutions in the field of energy services and renewable energies
  • You have proven experience cooperating with internal project management and engineering resources, supply chain and construction contractors. You are familiar with MS projects
  • In addition, you have already made demonstrably competitive offers for energy services and energy business, including solutions based on Energy-as-a-Service
  • As organizational talent you can offer a commercial mind-set, strong prioritization, communication and organizational skills and proven ability to manage against tight deadlines, ensuring that all information is incorporated into the bid/project proposal
  • You are fluent in English, both written & oral
