What you will do

  • As our Supply Chain Manager, you are our companywide Business Partner for all Supply Chain day-to-day questions, reporting directly to our CFO
  • You own the supply chain/procurement department and establish hands-on / further mature our existing processes & tools.
  • You are the point of contact with our main suppliers from the concrete and steel industry. For example you will establish the best setup for mixing and casting of HEATCRETE® or possible alternative storage material, by finding the most suitable ready-mix concrete facility close to project site. This involves coordination with concrete mixers suppliers, auxiliary equipment (cranes, concrete pumps & truck), necessary crew of operators, supervisors, ensuring highest quality control of the process and final product.
  • You develop and regularly update a solid data base of qualified service providers, hardware suppliers and contractors:
    1. Service providers will be mainly focused on engineering works, logistics, construction supervision, second party auditing
      2. Hardware suppliers will be mainly for steel cassettes, steam generators, ORC, heat recovery unit, heat exchangers, vessels, electric heaters, pumps, piping & valves, I&C
      3. Contractors will mainly cover civil, cranes, mechanical, piping, insulation, electrical and I&C works
  • You are responsible for contracting, negotiation and supplier relationship management for continuous cost improvements or addition of value-adding drivers within partner/supplier eco-system.
  • You negotiate prices and payment terms and also the formalization of contracts and purchase orders to suppliers.
  • You do the quality control of manufacturing (directly and/or through specialized 2nd party audit companies, like DNV, TÜV Nord, etc.)

 

Your skills and experiences

  • You have a Master’s degree with focus on economics, business, supply chain and/or procurement
  • You have minimum 7 years of professional experience within supply chain operations and/or procurement
  • Preferably you have experience with large-scale project procurement and high-volume purchasing track-record within industry or energy sector
  • You know EPC projects, turnkey contracts, supplier analysis, vetting procedures and also logistic systems, cross-border goods movement and transactions
  • You own the knowledge over relevant standards, regulations with insurance contracts and have experience with ERP systems, digital/e-procurement or software platforms for SCM
  • You have great communication and presentation skills and are passionate for clean energy, environmental innovation and sustainability
  • You are result-driven and service-driven and have exceptionally good problem solving skills and an ability to remain calm and composed during times of uncertainty and stress
  • You are fluent in English (written & oral) and you appreciate national and international business travels
  • In addition, you have already made demonstrably competitive offers for energy services and energy business, including solutions based on Energy-as-a-Service
  • As organizational talent you can offer a commercial mind-set, strong prioritization, communication and organizational skills and proven ability to manage against tight deadlines, ensuring that all information is incorporated into the bid/project proposal
  • You are fluent in English, both written & oral
