Curious about “An Introduction to the World’s First Industrial Thermal Battery”?
Join EnergyNest and Institution of Mechanical Engineers for a deep-dive on the Thermal Battery technology; explaining the concept, ease of integration and operation; reviewing the markets and technical applications; updating on existing projects and its contributions to mass-decarbonization in the industry and energy sector.
The presentation will be given by EnergyNest’s Nils Høivik, PhD and Pål Bergan, PhD, Dr.h.c, Tuesday 15th of September 18:00 (BST) / 19:00 (CEST). Click the link for more information and registration.

Casting of our first commercial Thermal Battery system for Eni at Mebin:
Innovation Norway has chosen to feature EnergyNest as one of the successful Norwegian recipients of an SME-I EU project grant.
Our latest video shows how our Thermal Battery addresses >50% of greenhouse gas emitters – especially industrial manufacturers (e.g. steel production) and thermal power plants (e.g. OCGTs, EfWs, biomass).
Besides greenhouse gas reduction our Thermal Battery helps deliver great business cases. It does so by enabling a gear-change in a) thermal process efficiency, and b) providing a higher power generation flexibility, which again is the basis for integrating more renewables effectively into the global energy grids.
Also watch our previous film giving a broad overview of the benefits of our Thermal Battery technology.
