Progress is well under away at Avery Dennison Performance Tapes site in Turnhout, Belgium!

ENERGYNESTs Thermal Battery™ technology is playing a pivotal role in Europe’s biggest Concentrated Solar Technology (CST) platform alongside our partners bv AZTEQ and Campina Energie cv. Integrated into the CST platform, our technology will be storing excess renewable solar energy and will release it during the night to supply carbon-free steam for faultless production.

Once the impressive construction work is complete on the CST platform, it will reduce greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 9% on Avery Dennison’s current consumption as they move forward with sustainable practices for their operations.

Nest by nest, change is happening!

The heat transition is a key focus of many corporate sustainability strategies. At the same time, the flexibilization of heat procurement offers great potential.

Power-to-heat enables food manufacturers to flexibly electrify process heat and reduce gas consumption. Thermal storage decouples electricity use from production, creating greater economic flexibility.

Short-term demand spikes drive up electricity-related costs unnecessarily. Managing them effectively lowers grid fees and creates additional flexibility in energy management.
